No enamel removal
Without removing any enamel, whitening makes your own teeth bright and white.
Excellent cosmetic results
Teeth whitening carried out at a dental clinic is not the same as cleaning, which only removes stains from the tooth surface: it bleaches from inside the tooth, giving you a white beyond your natural tooth colour. Combined with orthodontic treatment, it can also give an even better cosmetic result.
A plan tailored to you
As well as in-office and home whitening, you can also choose dual whitening, which combines the two. We will recommend whichever suits you best, so please feel free to ask us anytime.
How it works
Teeth whitening at a dental clinic can also improve the intrinsic discolouration behind yellowing teeth.
Discoloured teeth
Teeth that look yellow contain a large amount of pigment inside.
Breaking down the pigment
Once the whitening gel is applied, it penetrates into the tooth and breaks down the pigment.
Teeth after whitening
As the pigment decreases, the teeth become white and translucent.
Types
HAMILLE teeth whitening
In-office whitening
This is treatment you come into the clinic for. Because a single session can whiten your teeth, it particularly suits people who want to see results quickly.
Home whitening
Whitening at home
This is whitening you do at home using a dedicated kit. It takes some time to see results, but you can continue at your own pace until you reach the shade you want, and the effect is less likely to fade — these are its advantages.
In-office whitening in detail
Whitening performed by clinic staff
In-office whitening applies a special gel to the tooth surface, then uses light to whiten the teeth. You can expect results from a single session, and teeth tend to whiten within a short time, so it suits people with a fixed schedule who want to see results quickly, and anyone who wants to try whitening without much effort.
Advantages
You can see results straight away
Disadvantages
A single session may not reach the shade you want
Home whitening in detail
Whitening at home
Home whitening is done by wearing a tray filled with whitening gel at home. The gel breaks down and removes the stains that have penetrated into the tooth, whitening its colour.
You need to wear the tray for 2 hours a day for around 2 weeks, so whitening takes some time and doing it yourself can be a bit of a bother — that is its disadvantage. Its advantage is that you can continue until you are happy with the result.
Advantages
You can adjust it to the shade you want
Disadvantages
It takes some time to see results
Dual whitening in detail
In-office and home whitening combined
Dual whitening combines in-office whitening with home whitening. The two use gels of different concentrations, and the depth of penetration and bleaching action also differ. Using both together lets the gel penetrate a wider area, giving a more translucent white than either method alone, and keeping the result whiter for longer.
Advantages
You see results quickly, and the whiteness lasts
Disadvantages
There is no particular disadvantage, though it costs more than in-office or home whitening on their own.
Features
Come and experience the results for yourself. Our clinic has extensive experience in teeth whitening and can handle a wide range of cases, so you can feel at ease.
No stinging or pain
Compared with whitening at an ordinary dental clinic, sensitivity symptoms such as stinging or pain are less likely to occur.
No dietary restrictions
After whitening, there is no problem eating or drinking staining foods and drinks such as coffee or black tea.
Strong bleaching effect
We use a photocatalyst in the 470–480nm wavelength range, the most efficient for this purpose. Compared with earlier methods, this gives a strong bleaching effect even with a lower-concentration gel.
Gentle LED light for your gums
We use LED light that blocks harmful UV rays and is gentle on your teeth and gums.
Shorter treatment time
As there is no need to protect the gums beforehand, treatment is shorter, so you can have it comfortably and without added strain.
Affordable pricing
Compared with earlier whitening treatments, this is available at an affordable price.
Home whitening process
Consultation
We check your current tooth colour and find out the shade you would like to achieve.
Making and handing over your tray
We take an impression of your teeth and make a tray that fits them precisely. We then give you the tray and the gel, and explain how to use them.
Whitening at home
At home, at whatever time suits you, wear the tray for 2 hours a day for up to around 2 weeks. Squeeze a single dose of whitening gel evenly into the tray, then fit it over your teeth. Do not wear it while sleeping. After removing the tray, brush your teeth and rinse thoroughly, and clean the tray as well.
Check-up at the clinic
Once whitening is complete, please come to the clinic for a check-up.
In-office whitening process
Consultation
We check your current tooth colour and find out the shade you would like to achieve.
Cleaning
Depending on the condition of your teeth, we may first carry out cleaning such as PMTC to remove tartar and stains.
First whitening session
A dental hygienist carries out the whitening treatment at the clinic. Your gums are protected first, then the gel is applied, the light is applied, and you wait a few minutes. The light exposure time can also be extended on request. Afterwards you will have a check, and if you would like to whiten further, additional light exposure is available.
